I am so excited about this next chapter in my life. My husband and I recently moved to Charlotte, NC from St. Louis, MO. I'm not sure the day he told me that he was being transferred was the best day of his life. I was very entrenched in our community. My boutique, our home and the majority of my friends were within a 3 block radius.
I sold my boutique, our home and said a tearful goodbye to my lovely friends. I didn't even want to stay the night after the moving company took our household goods. I drove 6 hours that night because I didn't want to prolong the farewells anymore.
After having been in Charlotte for a month I see that there is real opportunity here. This community seems to be one that will really embrace my personal line that I sold in my boutique. For that I am excited to be here.
I love to see items that seem to have outlived their usefulness have new life breathed into them. T-shirt with holes are my favorite. I can't wait to share my designs with this wonderful new community!!
